leave me alone in the make-out room

Here's Tropical Depression #4:

If it becomes a tropical storm, it'll be our fourth of the season, and we'll call her Debby for short. I've stumbled upon this addictive little board in my attempts to keep up with all of the models and predictions. However, this is a tremendous time-waster, as many of these disturbances refuse all of the tracks laid out for them. Posters there are calling it a fish storm and quelling my concern by relaying images like this:

From what I gather, this is a Cape Verde storm, along the lines of a Cape Verde hurricane, and what this picture above tells us is that there's a great possibility that this storm, already quite organized and just barely off the coast of Western Africa, will be pulled northwards by either pressure or wind shear, not to make landfall anywhere. This is a classic characteristic of these invests, as they look very promising in the hurricane-trackers-sense, but because they are so far out in the middle of nowhere, they are more susceptible to unfavorable elements.
