It was touch-and-go there for a moment. I'm really not over this whole "not winning" ordeal.
However, I have been magically and unintentionally cheered up by some folks out there, and I'm sure they didn't even realize that their timing was magnificent. As an example, I will share the last part of an sassy e-mail I received from my big sister today.
"Congratulations by the way and don't let anyone tell you 'finally.' They can piss off."
